We will crank your skein of sock/fingering weight yarn into a tube that you can then split to knit the cuff, heel and toe. You will choose between a single tube or a double tube with a hung hem.  All unfinished edges are secured with scrap yarn.  Our "Tube to Sock" tutorial will be included with your finished tubes.  This tutorial is for the double tube with hung hem, but is easily adaptable.  Alternately, you can watch other tutorials on YouTube.

Yarn must be 4 ply or Fingering weight such as Jawoll, Opal etc. Cranking service must be ordered at the time of purchase in store and/or online.

Your tube will be hand cranked by Joanne to order on her Erlbacher Knitting Machine. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for completion.

Please note: your completed order will ship after the tubes are cranked.  There is no additional shipping charge when yarn is already on the order.

***If you are including multiple "cranking" orders, please add a note on Your Cart page to indicate the number of stitches and type of tube for each particular ball of yarn.***
